Section 2: Overview of U.S. Wheat Inspection      
 
S ection two explains the United States export grain inspection system as administered by the Federal Grain Inspection Service (FGIS). All grain that is exported from the United States, with a few exceptions, must be inspected by FGIS to assure that it meets the quality standards required in the export contract.
